Monarch Community Hall Information

For rent

Our dated but well kept Community hall is available for rent for any occasion. The hall holds up to 156 people(depending on your need) and is equipped with a brand new updated kitchen with all the trimmings. We have a meeting room, kitchen and the main gymnasium available for rent. These rooms can be rented as a whole or separately.There are tables and chairs enough for 120 people.

This is an excellent space to host a family reunion or larger gathering as you have access to the land surrounding the hall for trailers.

EFFECTIVE NOVEMBER 30, 2017

  1. Hall + Kitchen + Tables and Chairs:                                $125.00 per day

Damage Deposit: $250.00

  1. Hall + Tables and Chairs:                                                      $100. 00 per day

Damage Deposit: $250.00

  1. Hall (Gymnasium) only:

Option 1: $100.00 per day

Option 2: $20.00 per hour up to 3 hours ($60.00).

After 3 hours, rental fee is the daily rate of $100.00.

Damage Deposit: $250.00

  1. Meeting Room:

Option 1: $75.00 per day

Option 2: $10.00 per hour up to 3 hours ($30.00).

After 3 hours, rental fee is the daily rate of $75.00.

Damage Deposit: $150.00

  1. Tables and Chairs:

Option 1: Multiple tables and chairs removed off site: $150.00 per day

Option 2: Single table: $10.00 per day

Option 3: Single table: $50.00 per week. Maximum rental is 1 week (7 days).

  1. Grill: $50.00 per day.

Damage deposit: $100.00

The grill stays on site. Please follow the grill cleaning instructions that are provided.

**Damage deposit will be refunded if renter fills propane tank and cleans grill. **

*** Liquor permits are the responsibility of the renter. Liquor permits must be purchased by the renter from the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission (AGLC). If uncertain as to which type of liquor permit to purchase, please contact the AGLC at 403-331-6500.

The fine print:

Rental fees, damage deposits and clean up fees are to be paid with cash or separate cheques, before the renter is permitted to use the equipment or enter Monarch Community Hall. No exceptions. There is an ATM at the Monarch post office if required

A responsible adult ( over 18 years of age) must be present for the rental period. No Exceptions.

Damage deposits and cleaning fees may be refunded in part or in full after the rental providing that all conditions of the contract have been met. This will be provided upon rental agreement being signed.

**Preference will be given to those who rent space on a regular basis
